Built in 1916 as a part of the National Road, this bridge is now a pedestrian crosswalk linking the Indianapolis Zoo and White River Gardens to the attractions on the east bank of the White River. The bridge is home to the biannual sculpture program, which began in 1999 to showcase Indiana artists and make art accessible to visitors of the park.
