With a total area of 5,226.73 km², Cay Sal Bank is the third largest bank of the Bahamas, but with a land area of only 14,87 km². There are a total of 96 cays and islets, the largest being Cay Sal.

    Unspoiled beauty out here. Spent a few nights anchored up behind Elbow Key (lighthouse). Many a Cuban rafter has died on these islands....as well as many saved. The interior reef inside the banks is DEAD....had an eerie feeling as I snorkeled looking for dinner....almost like I was being watched by something looking for dinner ;)
