Seventh Pylon (Luxor)

The Seventh Pylon was built by Thutmose III (c. 1479-1425 BC), and now marks the end of the area that is normally accessible to the public. On the southern side, there is a carving of Thutmose III smiting Asiatic enemies, under which is a list of names of towns and peoples conquered in his campaigns in Syria-Palestine.
