Begun under Amenhotpe III (1389-1351 BC), the Tenth Pylon was completed under Haremhab in the late 14th century BC. Many of the stone blocks employed in building the core of this pylon were taken from the dismantled Temple of Akhenaten. There are four registers of scenes around the gateway, in the name of Haremhab.
