The iconic Warner Bros. water tower was built in 1926 and has since been declared an historical landmark. It contains a 100,000-gallon tank — although it currently holds no water. Initially constructed next to the studio fire department, it was move to its current site in 1937. The executives at the studio realized, after two devastating fires, that it needed to be closer to the backlot than the stages and offices.

Featured in Fox/WB cartoon Animaniacs where the Warner siblings are imprisoned by the studio's security guard. More or less a tourist photo spot now; the tower holds no water.
