The southernmost station the ACE High AFNORTH-UK network, the Coldblow Lane site was a troposcatter relay and microwave transmitter site that linked the stations at Stenigot and north to the mainland Europe ACE High network via the Mont Florentin site in France. Constructed in 1960 and operational from 1962-1995, the site was a typical relay site with two sets of antenna connected to a central machinery building, but also had additional transmitter buildings for the microwave link to London as well as administration facilities.

After the shutdown of the ACE High network the troposcatter antennae were demolished and the support buildings stripped and abandoned, with the sole exception being the microwave transmitter buildings and towers which remained in operation through 2015. In 2017 all the remaining buildings and antennae were demolished and the site cleared for redevelopment.
