I've been visiting Oituz Valley for about 2 years now to see my friends there, and I could notice a particular feature of the people living there. They are extremely interested in developing their region. From about 10.000 people living in Oituz, more than 400 work in foreign countries like Spain, Italy, Britain, Greece, Germany, and more other countries probably. Those that work outside their country, have their families in Oituz and when they come back they bring a considerable amount of financial capital, and they look for any opportunity that may be in their favour to start a business, or to bring other business people invest in Oituz. They come home in Oituz with a changed perspective from the time when they used to work in Oituz, and they feel that it's possible to develop some businesses in their native region, because those people have seen and learned different things at their job and they want to bring a bit from the foreign management inside their home land. It was very interesting for me to see this, to understand that people from this huge valley between the mountains have a lot of resources to built something special for their village and their country as well. More over, the land is particularly amazing. If you want to walk around Oituz, you can find a lot of little valleys and brooklets that remind you of fairy tales, or if you are passionate for climbing, there you can find mountains to climb on, or mountain routes that guide you through a wide territory of green forests and tablelands. It's a beautiful county and it worths visiting it.
