Washingtonplatz - Washington Square (Berlin)

The Washington Square is located in front of Berlin Central Station (German: Berlin Hauptbahnhof). As early as 1932, the square in front of Lehrter Bahnhof (former name of Hauptbahnhof) is named after George Washington.

As part of the redevelopment of the Lehrter quarter the square will be the place of a new cubic shape building, which houses the headquarters of Deutsche Bahn.
