Opened late May or early June 2018, Tru Fit replaced a defunct Kroger (aka the "Southwest Parkway Kroger"). The Kroger supermarket originally opened in 1982 as a "Greenhouse" model, but a renovation in 2001 replaced all that with a regrettably bland gray stucco facade and an interior facelift clearly done on a budget. In August 2016, the Kroger closed permanently, just a few months after the facade was finally repainted to a more tasteful beige and white, which Tru Fit now takes advantage of.
