Built to control the Airport Line in the early 1980's, A-Tower was given responsibility over the R6 Cynwyd line as well as CHESTNUT HILL WEST interlocking (Chestnut Hill West branch) shortly before all dispatch functions were centralized at 1234 Market.

Building currently used by SEPTA C&S department.
