The 2-story old Fulton Street Fish Market, completed in 1939 (when it was known as the New Fulton Fish Market). Designed by Albert Lewis and John D. Churchill, it combined elements of Art-Deco and Streamline Moderne styles. Its white walls featured a long arcade topped by two ribbons of casement windows, further capped by Art-Deco lettering running the full length of the building. The building has sat vacant since the fish market moved to a new facility in the Bronx in 2005.
