Former automotive factory - now under demolition (August 2012). The property, bounded by Homer Watson and Bleams Road at one end and including the Budd Park land at the other, has been purchased by MGD Developments Limited, a partnership of Martin Pathak of Tecumseh, Gary Ball of Kitchener and Don Fleming of Toronto. They purchased it for $15 million dollars from Martinrea International in 2009.

The complex, still known to area residents as the Budd plant, has been a fixture on the huge 49.7-hectare property for 45 years. Budd Canada Inc. began making vehicle frames in the original part of the building in 1967. From there, it expanded and grew with new additions. It produced chassis for various SUV and light truck applications. (specifically GM's Envoy and Trailblazer models in production) other parts for other manufacturer including Chrysler, GM, Ford.
