Constructed in the 1990s this dam provides water to the village and surrounding areas and has helped to irrigate the land even in mid summar. It's backwater occupies the old approach road to Digasi village; the road is now remapped.
Once barren looking hill-tops are getting thick green cover, thanks to the stored rain water.The fauna is also thriving ,especially monkeys and peacocks are seen everywhere at any time of the day.The existance of big cats viz. royal bengal tiger & leopards is spotted after rediscovery of the rare black panther near Radhanagari dam which is approx. 40 km travel from here.-Sunil S.Mainkar
