St. Dimitar Church (Sliven)

The church was built in 1831. Patron of the church is St. Dimitar of Sliven. Some reports indicate that before 1831 there was another church on the site of today's church building. It is believed that its origins date back to the medieval monastery complex Sveta Gora Slivenska.
In 1966, the temple was declared a cultural monument of local significance.
