Snyder Grove is a great little nature preserve with wandering paths, 2 bridges, a picnic shelter, semi-primitive pit toilets, and a stream running through it. It is a great location for recreational walking, but unfortunately is also frequented by local paintballers (illegally), which means there are neon paintballs all over the ground. This is also a popular spot for dog-walking. During the warmer months, one weekend each month, the preserve is closed so that the local archery clubs can hold "3D shoots." I am not sure on the legality of doing this, but, nonetheless, both myself and other sightseers have been "escorted" off the premises before by the leaders of this event.
