Truro Viaduct (Truro)

United Kingdom / England / Truro
railway bridge, Grade II Listed (UK), viaduct (bridge construction style)

A Class A viaduct 1 mile east of Truro railway station. Designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, it is 92 feet high, 1,329 feet long on 20 piers; replaced by a new stone viaduct on 14 February 1904. This is the longest conventional viaduct on the line. It gives travellers a bird'-eye view of the city and cathedral below, and the Truro River, a tributary to the River Fal, in the distance.
