Former Delaware & Hudson Railroad Company Building which was designed by Marcus T. Reynolds with structural elements by the Guastavino Fireproof Tile Co. The D&H Railroad used the building as their corporate headquarters.

The structure was bought in 1973 by the State University of New York to serve as their administrative headquarter. Renovations were completed and SUNY moved into the building in 1978. The weathervane on top is the size of a VW Bug and is a model of Henry Hudson's ship "The Half-Moon" (which discovered Albany). All applications to any State University of New York (SUNY) school get sent here for initial processing.

The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972 and it is a contributing property to the Downtown Albany Historic District.
