Dobbins' Landing (Erie, Pennsylvania)

USA / Pennsylvania / Erie / Erie, Pennsylvania

Dobbins' Landing is a pier that extends past the end of State Street. People like to come down here and fish. The pier also has a fantastic view of the sunrise. This place is well-lit and beautiful at night, so I encourage you to bring your sweetheart down here sometime.

Open 24h. There is a tower at the end of the pier which you can climb and look down from.

  • Back in my youth, when I was growing up in Erie, it was known as "The Public Dock", but evidently, the kids kept stealing the "L" from the sign, hence the name change.
