Piermont Pier, New York. Original eastern end of the Erie Railroad before it extend south via Suffern and Paterson to a new terminal in Jersey City, NJ. It was four miles from Camp Shanks during WWII. Some soldiers were ferried to transatlantic transports in Hoboken, while others debarked directly to Europe.
