From about the mid-1990s to 2015, this was Texadelphia, serving a Texas take on cheesesteak (it was part of a larger chain out of Austin). It was the first and last Houston-area location (though not the only one, as it spawned several stores in the Houston area before they all closed). In January 2017, it reopened as Beaver's (with "dam good food") with a large beaver statue out front. (Texadelphia eventually returned to Houston later that year, opening at a strip mall down the street.)
