Swaffham Butter Cross (Swaffham)

In the centre of the market town of Swaffham, the Butter Cross was built in 1783 by the Earl of Orford. It comprises of eight stone columns supporting a dome and the figure on top is that of the Roman goddess Ceres. It is a Grade I listed building.
