Bleeding Heart Yard (London)

United Kingdom / England / London / Bleeding Heart Yard, 3-7
restaurant, pub / public house, historic landmark

Called "Bleeding Heart Yard" due to the apparently hugely gruesome murder of Lady Elizabeth Hatton. Some say the Devil himself was responsible.
Currently home to the excellent Bleeding Heart Tavern (and Restaurant) and an outpost of the Scotch Malt Whisky Society. Fun for all the family.
The Tavern stands at the entrance to Bleeding Heart Yard featured in the Charles Dickens novel Little Dorritt as the home of the Plornish family.
