Built in 1955 to support the construction and resupply of the POW-3 DEW Line radar station, the Bullen Point Air Force Station is a 3,545ft gravel airstrip which saw heavy use in its designed role until the end of manned DEW operations onsite in 1995. Used thereafter to support the unmanned North Warning System station, the airfield has been inactive since the NWS station was shut down in 2007 and is not actively maintained.
