Crater Lake National Park - This is one of the best locations for an unobstructed overview of Wizard Island. The Watchman trail begins from the Watchman Overlook parking lot, built in the 1930s. The trail is 0.8 miles (1.3 km) long and 700 feet (210 m) vertical.
