300 foot high bluff overlooking Lake Superior. A short drive from Minnesota 61 takes you up to the top, which offers spectacular views of Lake Superior and the North Shore, particularly Shovel Point and Tettegouche State Park. It is a popular rock-climbing destination. Parts of the movie "The Good Son" were filmed on the cliffs of Palisade Head.

Yes, the best part of "The Good Son" was at the end when the people were dangling on the edge of that sheer cliff. I won't spoil the ending of the movie. Just go rent it and watch it. It's a real "cliff-hanger" of an ending! lol
