52 meter high Parnidis dune (Parndžio kopa). From the top of the dune the Baltic Sea, the Curonian lagoon and the Russian exclave Kaliningrad can be seen. Unfortunately, the dunes are threatened by drifting sands and an increasing number of tourists. In the last 30 years the Parnidis dune lost about 10 m in height.
