The housing area for the Army officers and NCOs stationed at the ammo plant. It was closed in 1994 and the houses sit abandoned on prime real estate overlooking the river. I lived here from 1984-1987 and have great memories of it.

  • I lived here as well, from 1981 to 1984, in house 10 I believe (top of a hill leading to cul-de-sac). It was wonderful--by far the best place I have ever lived. Did anyone else discover the log cabins in the woods? I came upon at least 2, and I thought it was 3, although as an adult I can't be sure that I didn't just happen upon the same one twice, thinking it was a different cabin :)
