This lake is accessible from the 9-mile Hole trailhead(Thorofare Trailhead) upper parking area. The route is about 5 miles and the reward is a small lake with water which is discolored due to thermal activity. There is heavy grizzly bear activity in this area - and when a friend and I were there - we did actually see a grizzly by the water's edge - thankfully we were on a hill and we managed to leave undetected. The lake is also accessible via the Pelican Valley Trail - turn south at the big bench which overlooks the valley to the north - and signs will direct you to the Turbid Lake. Enjoy!
