The Hiawatha Trail is a spectacular Bike trail created from a converted Milwaukee Rail Road bed. This trail includes ten former railway tunnels through the mountain, nine of which riders can actually travel through. There are also seven railway bridges to cross. The trail is also dotted with historical markers to learn about the areas past. It is a must see if you like adventure and history while visiting Eastern Washington, North Idaho, or Western Montana.
