  Very beautiful island with attractive sceneries,and mini tourist spot also. Almost 40 families are living here.We can see that there is a chappel for christians and a temple for Hindus here.Majority of territory belongs to Ernakulam distrist and whole island beolng to Kundoor church,Irinjalakuba Diocese.

  Now govt of kerala constucted 2 bridges to connect both Ernakulam district and Trissure district.
