Pyongyang Puppet Theater (Pyongyang)

Korea (North) / Pyongyang / Pyongyang / Oesong-dong

(평양인형극장/平壤人形劇場)
The Pyongyang Pupet Theater is more of a performing arts center as it has more than one auditorium. The term doll refers to marionettes and puppet shows. There is also a puppet and marionette workshop on site whose preparations for a recent show commemorating the 80th anniversary of the DIU (Down with Imperialism Union: which is the official foundation of a Communist Party in Korea) were highlighted in a KCNA broadcast. The building it is housed in was built during the Japanese colonial era and once housed the Pyongyang Public Hall.
