The originally Gothic chateau underwent reconstruction until today's romantic appearance.
A romantic chateau equipped with a unique collection of weapons, a historical theater hall or a rarely preserved chateau kitchen attracts visitors. Amazing is a walk through the castle park, which flows through the river Doubrava.
Chateau Žleby with its unique atmosphere and charming romantic environment is quite unique with its richly equipped historic interiors, which were created during the 19th century according to the original English patterns by the princes of Auersperk. So you can admire the magnificent collections of works of art, the extensive collection of historical cold and firearms, various antiques, glass, porcelain and ceramics, the collection of precious stained glass windows, paintings, textiles, historical furniture from the Renaissance to the 20th century and many more.

  • Originally a gothic castle of the Lords of Lichtenburka from before the year 1289, again built after the destruction by Hussites in 1420 before half of the 15. century, through the Renaissance and Baroque modifications, and into today's romantic form was rebuilt Karl Vincent Auerspergem in the years 1849-1868 by the English masters. Romantic interiors mix original historical monuments with period features and antiques imported from across Europe. Leather wallpaper, collection vitrají, many of the panelling, sumptuous facilities and installation of adhering to the documents, while today the Castle as a "useful collection of antiques", with its unique atmosphere and an unforgettable malebností.
