Nowa Ruda (pronounced ['nɔva 'ruda]; German: Neurode) is a town in Lower Silesian Voivodeship, Poland, on the Włodzica river and near the town of Kłodzko. As of January 1, 2005 it had 24,697 inhabitants. The town is located in the central Sudetes in the Powiat of Kłodzko of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. Between 1975 and 1999 it formed a part of the Wałbrzych Voivodeship.
