The Victoria Palace Theatre ( www.victoriapalacetheatre.org ) opened in 1832 as Moy's Music Hall but was demolished in 1886 with a new building being constructed on the same site. It was again demolished and re-opened in 1911 under its current name of the Victoria Palace Theatre. Over the century the theatre has hosted numerous exciting plays and musicals such as Me and My Girl in 1937 and The Little Foxes in 1982 starring Elizabeth Taylor. The smash-hit ballet-boy musical Billy Elliot opened at the Victoria Palace in 2005.

Home of Billy Elliot, the musical faithful to the film, with the addition of music by Elton John. When it was released in New York, it swept the year's Tony awards.
