The centerpiece of Houmas House Plantation and Gardens. The Federal and Greek Revival-style house was completed in 1840 and is listed, along with the rest of the complex, on the National Register of Historic Places.

Also located in the house is Latil's Landing restaurant, featuring acclaimed chef Jeremy Langlois.
