Calbayog City SPED Center or CCSC is a public school located along Nijaga St., Calbayog City, separated from Calbayog Pilot Central School(CPCS) in 2005 due to the Special Education(SPED) Program of the Department of Education. This school teaches both mentally gifted and deficient individuals along with some physically disabled children, which includes the blind, mute, and deaf. Currently, CCSC has a total population of about 750, which include approximately 700 pupils and exactly 31 teachers, of which only 4 are males.
