Piazza Farnese (Rome)

Vatican City / Rome
 square, interesting place

Those good 'ol days, those hot summer days, where the tourist become the owner of the city and the italians are away for their leisure months in the mountains, or the beaches. Most of Rome is deserted, and the tourist becomes the Kings and Queens, the real INVADERS of Rome. There are 2 wonderful fountains, that on evening summer nights me and my family would spent hours under the providence of the splashing water coming from them. The four corners are guarded by local cops, and on the manin street there is a small cafe', always crowded, (when the Lira was their currency and we have our mighty Dollar) we enjoy our SNACKS, with cornetto, cafe' latte, espresso and fresh fruit juice. I was there.
