Chongryu Bridge (Pyongyang)

Korea (North) / Pyongyang / Pyongyang

(청류교/清流橋)
The naming of the bridge celebrates the Choson Dynasty. A pavilion of the same name is in scenic Moranbong Hill which overlooks the Taedong River, which this bridge traverses. A major refurbishment was completed in June/July 2004, as part of a national infrastructure improvement campaign which also included completion of the late dear leader, Kim Il Sung's permanent tomb.(KCNA 7 July 2004)
