Former premises of 'Azkorreta Shipyard', nowadays Ondartxo has been transformed into Ontzigunea, a maritime heritage centre containing a collection of Basque boats. There's also a workshop dedicated to their restoration and maintenance, and to the construction of replicas of traditional Basque boats; the workshop and exhibition will be open to the public soon.
Ondartxo is part of the maritime heritage of the Local Council of Gipuzkoa, and it's managed by Albaola, Society for the Promotion of Basque Maritime Heritage.
