Erain school is a recognised educational centre whose aim is to offer quality education attainable to all families.
Erain is situated just 20 minutes from San Sebastian, in incomparable surroundings next to Mount Jaizkibel.
It is a legally accountable, non profit making, non denominational organization whose objective is educate at all non university levels, and thus supply a service of social interest and contribute to the plurality of the educational system which allows parents the right to freely choose the centre they desire for their children.
Its main educational function is to guarantee an integral formation of its students paying special attention to the development of human, intellectual and moral values balancing the equality between them.
The reference of its mission is a vision of Christian life in accordance with the fundamental principles of the Catholic doctrine and profound respect to the freedom of conscious.
Through initiative and responsibility, the college has incorporated Basque linguistic and cultural values to its educational programme.
Opus Dei is a personal prelature of the Catholic Church. It was founded in Madrid on October 2, 1928, by St. Josemaría Escrivá. Currently over 80,000 people from every continent belong to the prelature. Its headquarters, together with its prelatic church, are in Rome.
