Enormous building designed by Albert Speer, demolished after the war by the Soviets. Its marble was reused in the Mohrenstrasse U-Bahn station beneath it and in the Soviet War Memorial at Treptow Park.

  • retracting and correcting my previous comment - the placemark is where the 'old' Reich Chancellery was located. Hitler's 'new' Reich Chancellery was her plus to the left/west, along the Voss Strasse (where I put another placemark)
  • The Bunker should never have been destroyed as it is history for us all.
  • The new building was a mile long
