A drive-in movie theater used to be on this site at Felix and I-35. It was demolished in the late 1960s. A Kroger and K-Mart were built on the property, as well as a small strip mall. They shared a huge parking lot, which because of the drive-in was sloped; grocery carts were forever rolling downhill!
