Gora Qabristan (White Graveyard - Graveyard of the White) at Peshawar. Founded by the British Garrison at Peshawar in the pre-independence era, alot of British veterans of the Afghan wars (first and second) are burried here.
One of the famous tombstones read, "This British Army Officer was killed by his Pashtun chokidaar aka watchman, when he translated the Bible into Pashto" to let the Pashtu Know and Understand Christianity and its Supremacy.

Just to add somthing about Gora Qabristan entery....The person refferd to is well known scholar of bible studies Mr. Lowenthal and indeed he was killed by his Chokidear but all history records (recorded and maintained by English themselves indeed) show that this was not because he translated bible but just chokidar killd him in night at garden, mistaken for theif. That is chokidar dose not killed his master, which is something very difficult for a pathan to do, but that was just a blunder. The present entry show Peshawar and its people as intolrant, while that is one of the oldest inhabited city having a long record of respect for all relegions. A pathan or Pashtoon can kill a person of other relegion if he or she insult Islam, but can not kill any one just for doing any kind of relegious work for its own sake.
