The bridge that connects the former Saxon village of Neppendorf, the current Turnișor district, with the rest of the city.
Known also as 'Peco bridge' is In reality, two attached bridges, the old one dates from 1938-40, and the new one attached to the north, dates from 1999-2000, built to streamline traffic.
Starting with 2020, Sibiu City Hall starts an extensive rehabilitation and reconstruction project, the old bridge upstream will be demolished and a new one will be built, with three lanes (the third lane will provide direct access to Maramureșului Street), and the bridge newly built in 1999-2000 will be rehabilitated, creating a unitary look with the new bridge that will be built upstream and a bicycle track will be arranged.
