For years intended as a new city district but because of the railway, state owned, rarely cooperative company, works on the necessary infrastructure and streets underpassing the railway, are delayed indefinitely.
For now, the area is partly plotted and used by owners as vegetable gardens and small vacation/summer cottages.
Câmpușor can be translated as the small or little field.
