Final burial site of the Union Casualties from the Battle of Gettysburg, the longest and most violent battle of the Civil War along with the war's turning point. Also has burials from the Spanish-American War and both World Wars. On November 19, 1863, Lincoln delivered the Gettysburg Address here. This land was originally the battlefield where the Battle of Gettysburg took place and was originally known as the Soldiers' National Cemetery.

  • The "UNKNOWNS" fill the majority of markers in this hallowed ground. The American flag bears mute testimony over them at "Half Mast". Men laid down their lives for a cause they believed in.
