Fort Bliss is a United States Army post in the U.S. states of New Mexico and Texas.

With an area of approximately 1,700 sq mi (4,400 km2), it is the second largest such installation in the Army behind the adjacent White Sands Missile Range, and the largest TRADOC installation.

Fort Bliss has the largest Maneuver Area in the Army behind the National Training Center. Part of the fort in El Paso County, Texas, is a census-designated place (CDP); it had a population of 8,264 at the 2000 census. Fort Bliss also provides the largest contiguous tract of virtually unrestricted airspace (1,500 sq mi (3,900 km2)) in the Continental United States.
