Running from the flying junction at 15th St on the New Jersey Side to the foot of Morton St. on the New York Side, the Uptown Hudson Tubes are a pair of underwater cast-iron railway tubes built between 1902 and 1907. Along with their counterparts located further down the Hudson, the Uptown Tubes were declared National Historic Civil Engineering Landmarks in 1978 by the American Society of Civil Engineers.
