Lancaster County Courthouse (Lancaster, Pennsylvania)

USA / Pennsylvania / Lancaster / Lancaster, Pennsylvania / North Duke Street, 50
 courthouse  Add category

This 'brutalist' style current County Courthouse was completed in 1970, and compares in the view of many Lancastrians most unfavourably with the appearance of their former County Courthouse, built (1854) in Roman Revival (neo-classic) style(which was awarded an historic landmark status), and which occupies the plot immediately to the south and is actually connected to this building by a communicating extension to the south.

50 N. Duke St.
