This Temple is Second Largest Hindu Temple in India. Arunachaleshwar (Annamalaiyar) Temple.. It is historic and Holy Place for Indians.
Ramana Asram Founded by Ramana maharishi great Saint is situated here.

On each full moon day people used to go - girivalam- walk around the hill. the total distance covers about 14Kms. On the way around the hill there are some forests which has some precious herbs. the breeze of these herbs keeps the people more healthy, especially on full moon day.
